Talent Management and Human Capital Management
The development of Human Capital focuses on four activities:

Focus performance, skills and objectives on the client and ensure employees change their behaviour to encompass this – thus changing the culture.

Encourage dialogue around work related issues and the conditions in which one works.

Facilitate career evolution and mobility putting in place concrete rules and guidelines.

Implement a coherent salary structure linking performance and pay.
Manage professional and personal objectives in-line with the objectives of the organisation

Consultants at Harrison Willis will be asked to build management strategy and management skills within a client organisation.

This often consists of helping an individual to understand and accept in a positive manner the culture and expectations of an organisation versus his or her own personal objectives. In this way, the individual is more likely to ‘buy-in’ to the situation and will be less prone to leaving.

The process will continue over a period of time in order to ensure the candidate remains positive, enthusiastic and is clear about his or her medium-term career plans. This will involve a certain amount of preparatory work by the candidate and the consultant and there will be a series of follow-up consultations.
